This fast-growing sport has taken off at the park, steadily growing to over 100 players per week. The City of Sacramento will replace a tennis court with four permanent pickleball courts, but additional funding is needed to complete the project.
A core group of players are fundraising to provide permanent nets, wind screens, benches, paddle holders, and ongoing maintenance needs.
In addition to asking for your support, consider playing with us on Tuesdays and Thursdays between 5 pm and 8 pm, and Sundays 9 am – noon. 6th and W Streets.
